My roses that Rhett gave me for my 30th birthday this past spring. Aren't they beautiful? I'm so glad this last bunch bloomed before we left.

- Hi, y'all! Thanks for joining me! I'm a conservative Christian stay-at-home mom to lively four-year-old BFG (Baby Farm Girl)and wife to Rhett (who always saves the day). About a year ago, I became a country girl when we left "town" and purchased a 130+ year old farmhouse on 7.5 acres next door to my sister. Not only is hard to adjust to life in the country, we get to deal with the trials of fixing up and living in a very old house. Just gorgeous my darling! Have you been treating them with anything? My rose bush y'all got me when Camryn was born hasn't bloomed lately--it's still green though! Give me any tips you might have! I just LOVE roses!
Oh, I'm sure it's all the lead paint flaking off our house! LOL!
No, really I have no idea. I watered them a couple of times during the dought. They do get morning sun and afternoon shade. So, that may help keep them from overheating. HTH!
